At NationalRail.co.uk, we are the definitive source of customer information for all passenger rail services on the National Rail network in England, Wales and Scotland.
National Rail Enquiries is part of the Rail Delivery Group (RDG), which provides business services to Train Operating Companies, Open Access operators, Freight Operating Companies and Network Rail.
Management of the National Rail website is shared by Train Operating Companies and Rail Delivery Group. Train Company specific information (such as stations, products, promotions and Restriction Codes) is managed by the Train Company that owns that page. Information on topics that affect the railway on a national scale is managed by Rail Delivery Group.
If there are any inaccuracies, you can report them directly to the Train Company or via the 'Contact Us' link on the left. Please include the URL of the page when reporting any errors or issues.
Introduction
We handle an average of two and a half million journey planning enquiries every weekday through our contact centre, mobile, apps, website and through information services supplied to third parties (such as open access data feeds).
National Rail Enquiries provides journey planning, real time information, ticket and fares information and a range of rail-related information to all rail customers.
Listening to our customers
Customer feedback is important to us, that is why we have partnered with ForeSee to gather customer feedback on the site and services we provide.
In addition to the ForeSee survey comments, we also closely monitor feedback (good and bad) received through Facebook, Twitter, our ‘Community’ channel and Customer Relations Department.
Changes are continuously being introduced as a result of customer feedback and we’ll soon be letting you know more about these enhancements via our website.
