When in Brighton

To experience the traditional British seaside, Brighton Pier is the place to go. Greeted by an intoxicating smell of fish and chips and fresh doughnuts from the stalls at the front of the pier, as you venture in you can spend your change on 2p arcades, and visit the amusement park with a number of rides for the kiddies and thrill-seekers. 

 

If you like to shop or have essentials you need to pick up, Brighton has you covered. Wander through the historic alleyways of The Lanes for quirky independents, boutiques and antiques or visit North Laine for stylish, funky and kitsch fashion, art and ceramics. For big-name brands and stores, you can find them all at Churchill Square or Brighton Marina.

 

Brighton is also home to a vibrant nightlife with a lively LGBTQ+ scene with a variety of welcoming bars and spaces. It also has an active live music scene with a number of independent venues and that host gigs held by passionate event organisers, making it a popular place for independent bands and artists to play.
